If you have a need for more specialised care Staffing Plus can provide qualified Nurses or experienced trained healthcare staff. We will always undertake a comprehensive assessment of you or your loved ones needs and where necessary liaise with other relevant health care professionals to provide the appropriate care. Our Clinical Nurse Lead will meet with you and discuss a person centred care plan and this communication will continue throughout the time that we support you.
Our staff undertake short or longer term placements which provide continuity of care which our clients often find beneficial.
Nursing Care
Our trained Registered Nurses are able to provide a more clinical support service. Dependent upon your requirements, and while working under the direction of your own medical team and health care professionals, our nurses can offer you help in managing your needs.
Our Nurses can help with:
Medication dispensing and monitoring
Monitoring of vital signs and changing health status
Post operative wound care and other wound dressings
Lymphoedema leg wraps and care
Catheter or colostomy care
Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) care and feeding
Diabetic management
Assisting with all needs of daily living (ADLs)
End of life care
Our nurses are also trained in supporting those who have a mental health needs including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar affective disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, psychosis and post – traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Our mental health nurses and trained support staff have experience of supporting people who have a learning disability or additional needs of daily living. We support people with various mental health needs and those with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome who may require help at home or when accessing the wider community.
